It was a “what the fuck?” moment on CBS’s streaming service CBSN.

As Vice President Pence was overseeing the congressional certification late last night, an objection by members of both the house and senate was heard during the hearing.

After Pennsylvania's votes were announced, and the objection was heard, Pence notified the assembled group that both the house and senate were to now assemble in their chambers and discuss the objection before his certification could continue.

After a few minutes of seeing the video from the house, CBSN then ran animation, and Anchor Lana Zak announced that all the votes were counted, and Joe Biden is now the official president-elect.

Did she not watch what just happened? Was no one in the control room watching?

Zak just read what was in the prompter, but wasn't telling her viewers what happened? Pence still had to confirm 12 more states. The confirmation can't continue until both houses discuss the objection about Pennsylvania.
