Journalist or Influencer?

More and more it appears that Journalists want to be influencers and use their station branded social media to pitch products and services.

Over at Nexstar’s KIAH (Houston) Anchor Maggie Flecknoe is pitching spectacles in between giving viewers the news.

Isn’t there any sort of company policy at Nexstar against this crap?
