CNN’s Chief National Correspondent Jim Sciutto tweeted out this and it got over 22.000 retweets.

Then he later followed up with this post that corrected the fact that the guy did not try and use a “fake inaugural credential.”

This post was retweeted just over 400 times. And yet, some people wonder how misinformation gets out to the public?
