I want to say thank you for giving us news viewers and those within the industry not only a place where you can learn about news personalities and programs but also give our honest and sometimes brutal opinions about the industry. That being said...
I love the fact that the last couple of days you featured stories that show how news anchors & reporters can be just as human as we viewers are, both on a positive and negative basis.
The stories of the Nebraska anchor who tried to fight back tears as he told the story of how dispatchers helped him perform CPR on his 3 WEEK OLD son & the CNN reporter who broke down live on air telling the story of how the Los Angeles area is dealing with the latest Coronavirus spike were like a 1-2 gut shot. However they show how not every news personality is seemingly a soulless automaton that reads off of a Teleprompter just to tell the news to us viewers. They have "boots on the ground" experience of how people who have lived these stories feel.
Unfortunately there are those that need to be given no further attention due to how much of an absolute waste of time they are, like KSAZ "anchor" and all around Trump sycophant Kari Lake, who continues to drive her "journalistic integrity" directly into the sewer.
First, she decides to reveal that she is now going to be on Right-wing social site Gab considering that Parler has been shuttered due to Trump's horrifying actions over the last week. Then she claims the the First Amendment was "attacked" due to Trump being permanently banned on Twitter, and then to top off this toxic sundae she decides to take time off from the station without official permission as she watches her man-crush direct an attack on the very democracy he swore to protect & defend.
If I were the GM of that station, Kari Lake would be told to enjoy her vacation...because it would become a PERMANENT one.

It’s so critical to have an industry watchdog, especially during this time. Employers need to protect their workers and I feel like you play a part in making sure that happens (even if it’s because they don’t want to be embarrassed). Thanks for all that you do.

So Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Monday. I am nervous which TV news people will screw up saying it this time around.
