Nexstar Staffers Cry Foul Over News Nation
/Last month, Nexstar’s KSN (Wichita) Reporter Emily Younger did a story about some local paramedics that have released some music videos of themselves signing in the back of the ambulance.
You can watch that cute feature story right here:
It seems the gang at Nexstar’s News Nation also thought it was a good story and this month they did the package on their national cable newscast.
And while the singing medics made the cut, KSN Reporter Emily Younger did not.
News Nation took Younger’s story and had NN Reporter Aaron Nolan repackage the story.
Then, a Nexstar boss gave Nolan props from doing so:

Why couldn’t Nexstar just have the original Reporter do the story?
It is not sitting well with a number of Nexstar employees.
“They can’t even pull the raw from the station, they’re using same bites from the pkg and presenting it as their own,” said one insider to FTVLive.
“This seems so wrong to me,” said a Nexstar employee.
