Violating Policy at News Nation

FTVLive has obtained a copy of a page straight out of the Nexstar TV station handbook.

The policy says that two pairs of eyes need to review every script and every piece of video that Is in the newscast.

“No Exceptions,” the policy says.

So, on the debut night of Nexstar’s flagship newscast, News Nation, how did the signs that said “Fuck Trump” get on the air?

The bottom line…

Anyone that works in TV news and under tight deadlines knows that this policy while good in theory, is not practical to put into practice.
