Signing Off in Chicago

Susan Carlson has been giving Chicago residents the news for almost 3 decades.

In her 29 years, Carlson has worked at all the big Chicago TV stations except for Fox-owned WFLD. She worked at WGN, WBBM, WLS, and currently at WMAQ.

But she is leaving the NBC O&O, starting up her own company to do voice-over work.

She posted the news to her social media:

The best part of being a voice-over person? You don’t have to do your hair.

Look out, Billy Ransom!
