Longtime WCAU (Philly) Anchor Vai Sikahema is wrapping up his time at the NBC O&O later this year.

But the station is already moving in a new direction.

WCAU announced that starting this morning (who starts a new show on a Friday) Erin Coleman and Keith Jones will anchor the revamped "NBC10 News Today" weekday mornings from 4-7 a.m.

They also will anchor the network's 11 a.m. morning telecast.

The early morning show will provide a "more interactive experience" than a standard morning newscast, according to a statement released by the network.

And if you didn’t think that this show would be groundbreaking enough…get this! The station says that the anchors will have an opportunity to stand or sit in various locations on set rather than just sitting behind the main desk.

That will be worth at least 10 ratings points right there alone.

And, the station adds that social media will play a more significant role as well.

Coleman and Jones will be launching a new Instagram presence and joining viewers on Facebook to discuss the news. They also will be using social media to bring viewers into the show.

Wow! standing and moving Anchors and social media?! This is the holy grail of morning news.
