Why is That?

There is a story posted on Fox O&O KRIV (Houston) about the fact that flags would be flying at half-staff after to Navajo Nation members died at Fort Hood.

Fort Hood is in Texas and yet this is how the story posted by KRIV (Channel 26) ends:

So, KRIV in Texas is using a report from a station (KSAZ) in Phoenix, Arizona about a story that happened in Texas.

The pin on the map is the location of Ft. Hood, look how much closer it is to Houston than it is to Phoenix.

I can see using KSAZ to get sound from the Navajo Nation, but shouldn’t KRIV offer up their own story?

This is just lazy Journalism if you ask me.

Do your own work and stop just mailing it in from a sister station.
