FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that longtime WTTG Anchor Shawn Yancy was leaving the Fox O&O.

Yancy signed off from the station after almost 20 years. She followed longtime morning Anchor Allison Seymour, who left the station after more than 20 years there.

Both Anchors are Black and many in the DC Black community think they are seeing a pattern at The Firm’s station.

While Seymour has not said much since leaving (sources tell FTVLive she is bound by an NDA) in appears that Yancey is not going away as quietly.

She posted this over the weekend and if you read between the lines (as many people are doing) you might think this is directed at her old bosses at WTTG:

Also, chiming in this weekend is former WTTG Anchor Tony Perkins, who now is working across the street at WUSA.

As for Yancy, look for her to pop up in the DC market again as well. No one is talking, but hints are being dropped that Shawn Yancy may resurface at NBC’s WRC.

How about Allison Seymour to WJLA?
