A Vancouver Anchor who was shamed by a viewer for wearing a shirt that showed a touch of cleavage says she's been harassed about her appearance before, but this time it was hard to ignore.

After last weekend’s newscast, CHEK News Anchor Kori Sidaway received an email from someone signed by "The Vancouver Island Cleavage Patrol" that warned "Too much cleavage can break your news story."

The email included a photo of Sidaway wearing a white shirt during that night's newscast next to another photo showing a closeup of a woman's cleavage in a deep V-neck that ends below her breasts. These photos, according to the message, show "What you think we see and what we actually see."

The email was all sent to her bosses.

Sidaway decided to respond on social media to the troll:

There is no doubt that Sidaway‘s top that she wore on air was perfectly acceptable.

Talent, male or female should always look professional on air and not distract from the stories you are telling. I see nothing wrong with the outfit that Sidaway wore.

I will say it again, if you don’t like how the anchor looks or the clothes they wear, change the damn channel.

Also, women have boobs, get over it.

As for Sidaway, good for her for calling out the troll and I guess anchors here in the States now know that the trolls are everywhere.
