A DC viewer emailed FTVLive and they think that WTTG is trying to trick viewers.

The station recently demoted Anchor Maureen Umeh to a reporting role and insiders say they pushed beloved longtime Anchor Allison Seymour out the door.

Both Anchors are Black and some viewers have emailed FTVLive claiming that the management at the Fox owned station is discriminating against the anchors.

This viewer emailed to say that the station is now trying to trick viewers with their promos. This is the viewer’s email:

Channel 5 is running commercials using Maureen's image on their morning news commercials trying to trick the viewers as if they have Maureen back on the anchor desk in the mornings. Yet she is still out in the street reporting.

The pictures I attached are screenshots from adds they ran just today on channel 5 and channel 20 just today on channel 20 during the noon hour when they know Maureen was street reporting just this morning. Plus they have Allison's job posted. Why not move Maureen BACK
