It seems that NBC who has been laying off people left and right, have at least kept around some people to make gaffs like this.

NBC posted this tweet about Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her appearance on the DNC broadcast of their convention.

The tweet was misleading at best and after 1AM, the network followed up with this “clarification”:
