Storm Surge

News crews here in Florida are moving the record-breaking coronavirus cases and deaths here in the Sunshine state to the back burner for coverage of Hurricane Isaias.

The storm is spinning just off of Florida’s East Coast and is expected to impact the state today and Monday.

Isaias is not a well-organized storm and the winds seem to be keeping it a Cat 1 hurricane.

Still, Florida is expected to get sideswiped and there will be damage.

Here at the FTVLive Embassy along Florida’s First Coast, we hope and expect to keep the damage low, but we will be doing a few storm preps today.

There is a likely chance that we will lose power and how that impacts our upload schedule remains to be seen.

But, you know that no matter what happens, we will be doing our best to bring you the news about TV news, even though the hurricane.

Just like we have done each and every day for almost 6 years straight.
