But Wait....You Said...

When dealing with the White House, many in the media cover the story of the day and don’t often follow up on stories from just a few weeks ago.

When Dr. Anthony Fauci was offered to throw out the first pitch at a Washington Nationals game, Donald Trump was so jealous that he said that on August 15th the Yankees invited him to throw up the first pitch at their game.

This of course was news to the Yankees, who called that no such offer was made.

Trump then followed up with this tweet:

So, we tucked that tweet away and waited for August 15th, to see just what the President was doing to focus on the pandemic and the scheduled meetings on vaccines?

Yesterday was Aug 15th and here is for NFL player Jay Feely’s tweet about playing golf with the President yesterday.

Unless Feely is secretly working on a vaccine for the Rona, it appears that no meetings took place.

Lastly, while Trump was all smiles on the golf course, his brother Robert died in a New York hospital yesterday. How sad is the fact that Trump couldn’t have taken time out to be there when is own brother passed away? Instead, he wasn’t throwing out the first pitch, he wasn’t holding coronavirus meetings….he was golfing.

Also, it appears part of his orange makeup that he wore play golf (huh?) got on his shirt.

Anyway, we just wanted to follow up on a story that the media brought you and likely offered no follow-up.
