According to an article from Barrons, the cord-cutting rate by viewers is picking up pace.

The report says that in the first quarter, subscriber counts for the cable, telco, and satellite-TV services from companies like Comcast, AT&T, and Dish Network fell at about an 8% annualized rate, accelerating from declines of 5.4% last year and 3.3% in 2018.

In other words, TV groups keep demanding more money from providers to carry their signal and as the viewers watch their cable bill ride and rise, due to this greed, they cancel their service.

In other words TV stations are gouging themselves right out of business and they are too greedy to see it.
