WJXT (Jacksonville) Reporter Lena Pringle was assigned a story to go out and cover a protest. So, Pringle did her job, went and covered the story, and even did a Facebook Live as well.

So, some were a bit surprised when the Fraternal Order of Police in Jacksonville linked to her live reporting and accused her of protesting.

She wasn’t protesting, she was doing her job.

The FOP post then says, “Add another one to the list of zero credibility.”

Needless to say, some people took issue with the FOP post:

After saying that the Reporter was protesting, when they were not and being called out for doing so, FOP President Steve Zona the tried to deflect his post:

If Mr. Zona wants to call out the station or the Reporter for bad reporting, he clearly has a right to do that. But, when you claim that the Reporter was protesting when she was not, I’m not sure your opinion is one that should be trusted.

You just lied about a Reporter and then wonder why some people question the police.
