FTVLive has been telling you that NBC has quietly been cutting people at their O&O’s and it appears that the company is not done swinging the ax.

The New York Post reports that NBC is preparing broad-based layoffs that will hit its network employees especially hard, sources said. The scale of the layoffs could not yet be determined, but insiders described the job cuts as “sweeping”and “significant.”

NBC is blaming the coronavirus for the cuts.

Back in May, NBC cut senior management pay by 20 percent and rolled back pay for employees making more than $100,000 by 3 percent.

NBCU declined to comment on the proposed cuts.
