While You Were Sleeping....

Sources at The Firm’s WTTG in D.C. tell FTVLive that Anchor Angie Goff missed part of the morning newscast yesterday after she slept in.

Goff did eventually make it to the station and joined the morning news in progress.

Look, if you work the awful hours of the morning show, it seems inevitable that something like this will happen. You sleep in, forget to set your alarm, it happens, so we’re not here to call Goff out.

Plus, since Goff is a favorite of both WTTG News Director Paul McGonagle and GM Patrick Paolini, it is a given that Goff will not be in the dog house with management.

Oh, it is good to be the teacher’s pet.
