A viewer wants to know why CBS lets some of their affiliates only run half of the Sunday morning news show Face the Nation?

Here is the email to FTVLive:

Why does CBS allow their affiliates to only air half of Face The Nation?

For the first time today (Sunday), Margaret Brennan said 'some of our affiliates will be leaving us now' after thirty minutes.

In this market, that means Sinclair's in-house conspiracy theorist Sharyl Attkisson gets to take over and peddle her nonsense about vaccines, election fraud, and whatever new lie she wants to present as journalism.

This makes no sense for CBS to do.

They run a cold open about what's coming up on the broadcast and then they run teases to keep you watching only to then say 'see ya later' halfway through the show. At least now they run a disclaimer, previously they just dumped out of programming, which usually meant only seeing half of the in-depth interview.

Does CBS think that little of the show as to allow affiliates to only air half of it? Can you imagine if NBC tried to do the same to Chuck Todd?

And why limit is to just FTN? What if an affiliate wants to air an infomercial instead of the back half of 60 Minutes?
