Another COVID Case in the Newsroom

While the rona seems to be running rampant in Arizona, it appears that Quincy Media’s KVOA is dealing with cases inside their building.

Sources tell FTVLive that they believe there has been at least 5 cases of COVID-19 involving the staff at the Tucson station.

Employees were sent an internal memo from KVOA General Manager Bill Shaw, saying the latest staff member to test positive was in the building on both 6/24 and 6/25 after showing symptoms on 6/23.

I guess my question is why is someone that is experiencing symptoms on one day, going back into the station the next two days after that?

Some inside the station are telling FTVLive that they don’t think the company is doing enough when it comes to keeping the staff safe.
