I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that KIMT is really in need of some weather anchors.

Morning Weather Anchor Sarah Knox recently left for a gig in Salt Lake City and this week it appears that the station cut ties with Chief Met Chris Nelson.

No word on what happened, but Nelson’s bio has been scrubbed from the station’s website and insiders say he’s gone.

Nelson joined KIMT as Chief Meteorologist in April of 2019, coming from the CBS station in Milwaukee.

Sources say that the last weather anchor standing at the station is Sean Macaday and it appears that he is doing all the newscasts.

I hope he doesn’t enjoy sleep.
