Station Responds To Their Reporter Being Targeted by Police

On Saturday, FTVLive told you that WAVE (Louisville) Reporter Kaitlin Rust was reporting on protests on 5th street in Louisville when a police officer opened fire on her and the WAVE Photographer with a marker gun.

After the incident, WAVE put out this release and is asking the Louisville Police Department to investigate the officer that thought this action was ok?

FTVLive agrees with this statement and we can only hope that the Louisville PD will do the right thing and that this officer is dealt with.
