Photographer Attacked, Beaten and His Gear is Stolen

Word is that a Photographer from Scripps owned WRTV (Indianapolis) was attacked and beaten.

Eldon Wheeler was alone on assignment when he was attacked, beaten unconscious, suffered broken ribs and other injuries.

His camera was smashed, his laptop stolen.

Word is that the station sent out an email saying that Wheeler would be out for the the rest of the week. A station insider says that the note did not have any “indication that anything was wrong.”
