One of Tegna’s comedian turned TV News Anchor raised a few eyebrows with a tweet.

WKYC (Cleveland) hired local comic Mike Polk to help cover the news. Sadly this is not the only Tegna station to hire a comedian over an actual Journalist.

When Polk was first hired by WKYC, his start date was delayed and station insiders told FTVLive that they believe it was because Polk needed some time before taking the company’s mandated drug test.

Yesterday, Polk replied to a tweet and it had some inside the station shaking their head:

Now, one would think that if you are representing a TV station, you might think twice about tweeting out that that you are ready to smoke a bunch of pot, but nope, because….This is Tegna.
