LA sources are telling FTVLive that KABC News Director Rob Elmore is leaving the station, but not the ABC family.
Word is that Elmore is being promoted to President / General Manager at WTVD in the Raleigh/Durham market.
This is a bit of a homecoming for Elmore. He was the News Director at WTVD for almost 2 decades before making the move West. Now he heads back to his old station, to take over the corner office.
No word yet on his replacement in LA.
