But the Other Guys Say Differently...

FOX West Texas is a TEGNA station in San Angelo and as bad weather moved into the area, their Weather anchor Joe Decarlo said it was nothing to worry about:

But if you logged onto the competition in town, you got a different story:

So, why is Joe Decarlo saying the storm is basically nothing, while the other station is calling it a severe thunderstorm warning?

Logging onto Decarlo’s Instagram shows that he was 500 miles away, looking at clouds. I’m guessing the weather 500 miles away is often a bit different.
