WGN (Chicago) Reporter Gaynor Hall was doing a live shot and just as she was tossing to her package, an idiot jumped into frame grabbing Hall and yelling, “FHRIP.”

Later Hall took to social media to write, “A brief note to the young man who jumped in my liveshot tonight: It was not funny. You violated my personal space. You grabbed me. You scared me. Was it worth it?”

The punk was later identified and arrested.

Police busted 20-year-old Eric Farina and charged him with battery and disorderly conduct Sunday morning. He confessed to the prank.

FTVLive thought about not using the idiot’s name and not give him the notoriety. But, the bottom line, Eric Farina is part of the story and you should give the facts of the story when you report it.

Also, hopefully, one day, Eric Farina will be applying for a job, his prospective employer will do a Google search, see this story, and give the job to someone else.

Your stupid actions have consequences, Eric.

We’re glad Hall is OK and sorry that this happened to her. No one deserves this shit while just trying to do their job.
