The Turnover in Texas

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that KVII (Amarillo) Reporter/Anchor Niccole Caan was leaving the Sinclair station.

It appears that the station has had quite a bit of turnover. According to an insider, Caan isn’t the only one leaving the station this month.

Our source says that last week, Chief Meteorologist Steve Kersh announced he is leaving the station, and yesterday the morning meteorologist, Alyssa Pawlak announced she was leaving the station. Both will be gone by the end of the month.

“In the last year, there have been multiple reporters, anchors, producers, and directors depart from the station. The tally is now up to 4 Mets they have lost in just one year,” the source tells FTVLive. The source adds, “the previous news director departed the station, and once the new one came in, staff started dropping. The newsroom is busting at the seams with the ongoing circus. Corporate seems to be aware of the chaos, but nothing is being done to stop it.
