Staff Cuts Coming to NBC O&O's

Back on May 6th, FTVLive told that that the staff at NBC was being told that they were going to have their paychecks cut.

This is happening across the board at all NBC properties, including the O&O’s.

But it looks like that is not all at the O&O’s.

Word is that the General Mangers at the NBC O&O’s are being told that they need to make more cuts and that includes layoffs.

WMAQ GM David Doebler held a virtual town hall with the staff in Chicago and said that layoffs were coming. He did not say how many cuts would be made?

GM’s at other NBC stations have also been told to make cuts and that will include jobs.

The company has already stopped all overtime and new hires are on the back burner.
