Trevor Noah is Paying Co-Workers Salaries

During this pandemic, I have been watching Trevor Noah do his “Social Distancing Show” on YouTube and I have found him entertaining.

When Noah replaced Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, I quit watching the Daily Show.

It was like replacing Tom Brady with Andy Dalton, why even bother?

Like I said, watching Noah is entertaining and I have come to like him a bit more, although he Is no Jon Stewart for sure.

But, my respect for Trevor Noah took a sharp rise after reading this Variety story and finding out that Noah is personally paying the salaries of 25 furloughed members of “The Daily Show” crew.

“These are the people who have been on the show with Trevor from day one and help him put on the show,” a source close to the production tells Variety. “Trevor is personally covering their salaries until the production business opens again. He respects his crew tremendously and feels it’s only right that they get through this together.”

That is a really cool thing to do.
