While talking about Meredith telling employees that starting next month through September, they will have their paychecks cut somewhere between 15% - 40%.

If an employee makes under $50,000 a year, they will not have their pay cut.

But, we wondered how could Meredith cut the pay of those that are working under contracts?

A number of Meredith employees that are under contract reached out to FTVLive and said that the company is asking them to sign an addendum, that will give them the right to cut the pay that both sides agreed to when they signed the contract.

“What bugs me is they give between 1% to 2.5% pay raises annually during the good times while the people in upper management rake in huge bonuses. When times get bad, They come back to all employees for a large pay cut. Larger than raises for at least 10 years combined for most employees,” said one Meredith employee to FTVLive.

You can’t say that they don’t make a good point.

What Meredith and no one else has said, what happens if an employee refuses to sign the addendum?

Just asking…
