Former KHOU Anchor Lisa Hernandez is going to resurface on the air in Houston, but it won’t be at the Tegna station.

KPRC announced that they have hired Hernandez and she will be joining the morning team at the station.

“I always believed Lisa was meant to be on KPRC 2 and we are thrilled that she was excited to join our team,” says KPRC General Manager Jerry Martin.

“I’m excited to begin this new chapter in a community I hold dear,” says Hernandez. “I can’t wait to become a regular part of Houston’s morning routine!”
