This is Tegna....

A number of you emailed FTVLive and pointed out the fact that ads for Tegna were showing up on FTVLive.com.

We looked and it’s true, there were Tegna ads, which were targeted to the Tegna shareholders and asking them to vote for the current board members.

The ad on FTVLive was not a direct buy, it was placed through Google Adsense. We were surprised as you were when we saw the ad.

While reading the NY Times yesterday, I also saw a Tegna ad that was begging shareholders to vote for the current board members.

Well, at least now you know where some of your furlough money is going.
