Can You Guys Break Stories Like The Guy Across the Street?

It seems that the bosses at Nexstar’s WJZY want the news staff to start breaking some stories when it comes to COVID-19.

According to an internal memo obtained by FTVLive, the staff is being told that WSOC Reporter Joe Bruno is kicking their ass and that they need to start reporting like him (but don’t mention his name.)

The memo also tells them they need to start heading back out into the field for live shots.

I guess the days of sitting on your couch, eating pretzels and watching Joe Bruno break stories are coming to an end.
