Yesterday morning, FTVLive wrote about how Donald Trump was once again getting CNN and MSNBC to give him free air time in which he could basically try and shore up his reelection.

In 2016, CNN boss Jeff Zucker instructed his network to carry Trump’s campaign rallies uninterrupted, basically giving Trump millions of dollars in free ad time. MSNBC had Trump all over their shows and again, gave Trump much more time than any other candidate.

They said they would not do it, in 2020, yet here we are. Trump is basically turning his COVID-19 updates into a chance to push for reelection and get his message out.

Yesterday, we pointed out that Trump had once again outsmarted Jeff Zucker and the folks at MSNBC.

But, then when it was time for Trump to give his daily COVID-19 updates, CNN did not take the President on their air, until after Trump was done speaking and the real medical experts started talking.

MSNBC took the update but pulled the plug when Trump started his Q&A session.

The question is can both networks continue to limit Trump’s facetime, knowing that it will hurt their ratings?
