Now That's Pretty Cool

FTVLive points out time and time again how Reporters spend their time out of live shots taking selfies with destruction behind them and do it with a big old smile on their face.

This story is not that.

WZTV Reporter Justin McFarland was covering just some of the destruction left behind by the tornados that passed through the Nashville area.

But, while he was assigned to do live hits, he did have some time in between his reports.

McFarland did just sit on his phone and post to Twitter, he decided to use some of his downtime to help the people that were cleaning up.

The station saw him doing so on the locked down camera and showed viewers that there are some TV people out there that actually pitch in and help the community.

Good job Justin!

You gave some of us hope for this industry after all.
