Hey FTVLive,

First off, thanks for all you do! You are my first stop in the morning and I love the wisdom and the craziness that you pass along each day.

I was burned out on this business as I felt like TV news had lost its way. But now, I think that despite the horrible things happening with COVID-19, I feel like we (the TV business) is getting back to where it should be.

I was out covering a story the other day outside a grocery store and 3 people came up to me and thanked me for the job the media was doing. I haven’t had anyone thank me for my job in the past 3 years.

It was a small thing, but it felt so good.

I finally feel like I’m in this business for a reason.
