Charges Filed Against Anchor

On March 16th, FTVLive told you that KUTV (Salt Lake City) Anchor Shauna Lake was cited for driving drunk.

Yesterday, Lake was officially charged with DUI.

As we told you this is not the first time Lake has been busted for driving drunk.

She was arrested back in 2017 and plead guilty to the chargers. Lake was sentenced to 12 months of probation, was required to pay a fine of $1,460 and complete eight hours of community service.

Lake made a tearful on-air apology to viewers after that arrest and returning to the air.

Lake has been at the station since 1994 and anchors the evening and late newscasts.

While the local paper and other stations covered the news about her being officially charged with DUI, we could not find the story on the KUTV website, because, you know, the media.

Lake’s status with the station is unclear.
