With the coronavirus outbreak, many stations are having their people work from home.

Looking at many stations across the country, I see the News Anchors still on the set, but the Weather Anchors are doing the forecast from their house.

Look, the more people you can keep at home the better, but I am a bit perplexed by all the weather people that are staying home.

In all my years in TV news, more often than not the weather person was always social distancing. The weather office was located in the studio or some tucked away office and the Meteorologists were often in those areas all by themselves.

So, it seems odd in the fact that those are the ones that are now working from home.

I do remember when I could never find a Photographer, the first place I looked was the weather office. It seems that was always a good hiding spot.

Maybe that’s why they sent them home?
