You Suck

Yesterday, I got an email from a longtime FTVLive reader that thinks that I am including too many coronavirus-relates stories on FTVLive.com recently.

The reader says in part, “I love your site and it is my first stop every morning. But, you need to stop with all this coronavirus nonsense that is way overblown.” He added that the last few days FTVLive “sucked” because we almost covered only one topic.

My advice to this reader is to maybe not log onto FTVLive.com for a while, because I think this story is going to dominate the headlines for some time.

I hate writing about the same topic over and over again as well. But, people in the media need to know what’s going on and how stations are dealing with all this?

I would love to post about other stuff and I’m sure TV news people are also getting weary of reporting non-stop news on the coronavirus and the fallout.

But right now, this is the world we are living in. Many blamed the media for blowing this whole coronavirus out of proportion when we started warning them weeks ago.

Funny, you are not hearing from as many of those people now.

FTVLive’s job is to cover the news about TV news and right now we are basically stuck on a single topic that is changing the way we live and will be changing this country forever.

This will be part of this country’s history long after we are all gone.

I like many of you are looking forward to the day we can get back to normal, or whatever the new normal will be. Until then, I will continue to present the information I deem relevant and that I think needs to be shared with people working in TV news.

Sorry….but not sorry.
