Boogergate

The most-read story this week on FTVLive was about boogers on the men’s room wall at Sinclair’s WCIV in Charleston.

WCIV GM Mary Margaret Nelms sent to the staff about how there are boogers all over the wall in the men’s bathroom and she wants it to stop.

It appears that boogers are not only a problem at WCIV. A number of people have sent along their booger story, including an Atlanta GM that took time to circle the boogers on a hallway wall with a pen.

Another sent us a picture of the bathroom stall at one mid-market station that was filled with boogers. We will spare you and not post it.

Another person said that when he landed the News Director job, he moved into the office and wanted to change the location of the desk in his office. He did not like how the previous News Director had the desk set in the office.

As he lifted the desk, he said he could feel something under the edge of the desk. He got under and looked and as he said, “There must have been thousands of boogers under there.”

So, the next time you are called into the ND’s office, you might want to stay clear of the desk.
