Signing Off in Albany

Popular WTEN morning meteorologist Jess Briganti has just over a month left at the Nexstar station. She announced that after more than 8 years she will be signing off on March 10th.

Sources tell FTVLive that Briganti was trying to negotiate a new contract with Nexstar but they couldn't agree on the main sticking point, which was money.

While Nexstar recently announced that they are raising their stock dividends by 24% a share, employees are often only offered 1% in a new contract.

Briganti says that she does not have another job lined up.
