Sinclair to Hub Another Newscast?

Word is that Sinclair has told the staff at KHQA in Quincy, IL that they will be moving the newscast some 2 hours away to Champaign, Ill.

It appears that the station will start producing and anchoring the newscast from WICD Champaign.

We’re have been told that some of the KHQA staff is being given the option to move to Champaign.

Sinclair currently is doing this with other stations. The newscasts for Toledo, Ohio and Wilkes Barre, PA are produced out of South Bend, Indiana and not even in the same state.

The viewers lose out when the Anchors that they are watching on their local newscasts are not even in the same town and sometimes not even in the same state.

Somehow the FCC is totally fine with this crap.

Sad.
