But You're a Reporter!
/OK, if you are anything like me, then you are more than sick of the broom challenge and the hoax that has been clogging up your social media.
KARK Reporter Alexis Wainwright posted this to her social media:
Now, if Bill the manager at Wendy’s wants to post about the #broomchallenge and start out his tweet with “Sooo apparently NASA reported…..” I guess that’s fine. But, Wainwright is a Reporter and I would hope that she might do just a bit of digging (I.e. Google search) to see if this is true (it is not) or not?
A journalist should not feed the hoax.
Then again, pinned at the top of Wainwright’s Twitter is a post saying that it is her birthday, which happened 5 months ago.
Is it magic or physics?
BTW, this Pittsburgh Anchor at least took it up a notch…
