The Last Edition of FTVLive
/Today is the last day of the year and FTVLive has been updating this site each and every day for the entire year.
We posted every weekday, every weekend, and every holiday this year, just like we did in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015.
After 2020, I know many of you are really looking forward to 2021 and I am as well. But, if you think you are going to wake up tomorrow and it will all be better, you’re living in fantasyland.
With this pandemic, we still have a long way to go. It is going to get worse before it gets better, but it will get better. You guys need to continue to inform the public that they need to practice the CDC guidelines and you all need to do it yourself.
Every time I see someone walking around a store (that requires masks) not wearing a mask, I think that is one of the most selfish people on the planet. This virus was always going to be bad, but it never had to be this bad.
If you lost a family member or a friend, I want to tell you just how sorry I am.
If you lost your job because your company made cuts due to the pandemic, I feel so sorry for you.
2020 was a tough year for many of us.
I think 2021 is going to be better, but it won’t be right away. If you are holding out hope that it will be, you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.
We will still have the pandemic to deal with and the economy is likely going to get a lot worse before it gets better. We are in a big hole and it is going to take time to climb out of it. But, we will get out.
Try to stay on message, offer viewers the real story, and try to highlight some encouraging stories when you can.
To all of you that stop by FTVLive each and every day, THANK YOU!
Your support makes the 1 AM wake up calls and the no days off really worth it.
Here’s hoping you have a safe and Happy 2021!
We’ll be back here tomorrow to kick-off 2021.
Yeah…. the headline was kind of, sort of, clickbait.
