Hearst Station Employee Dies From COVID
/The staff at Hearst owned WGAL (Lancaster, PA) are mourning the loss of a fellow co-worker.
Chuck Clark worked at the station as a director, audio engineer and in master control, contracted COVID and died.
Clark, who worked at the station for just over 50 years was admitted to the hospital just after Thanksgiving and died a couple of days later.
“All of at Hearst TV is truly heartbroken at the passing of WGALcolleague Charles Clark,” said Jordan Wertlieb, Hearst Television president, on Twitter. “A great broadcaster, father, husband and a true gentleman who was inducted in the WGAL Hall of Fame last year.”
Chuck Clark was 70 years old.
