We heard from a couple of Producers that work at Tegna stations that are working remotely.

They said with AT&T pulling their signal from both U-verse and DirecTV in a retransmission fight, some Producers can not watch the live newscasts that they are producing.

“I can’t get a clear signal over the air and the delay is too long to stream the newscast,” said one Producer.

They tell FTVLive they are producing the show just by listening to it and can’t see the on-air product via IFB. One Producer said that they don’t want to tell their boss, because they fear that they will make them return to the station.

Guess Tegna didn’t really think about that when they decided to gouge the viewers to pay more money to watch their station.
