Singing Off in Steubenville

Longtime WTOV Chief Meteorologist Kevin Carter almost made it to 30 years at the station.

“It’s been a great ride, but it’s time to move on and meet the next challenge in life,” Carter said.

After 29 years and 3 months Carter is leaving the Ohio station and tells viewers that he’ll still be watching and they will be in good hands with “whoever they bring in” to take his seat in the weather center.

He says that it’s time to focus on the “Gs” in retirement – golf, guitar, grandkids, traveling the globe, and, his words -- goofing off.
