Gouging the Viewer

Just to prove what FTVLive has been saying about retransmission fees and fights, let’s look at a Comcast bill for a typical viewer in Philly.

Look at how the fees will be going up later this month.

Both TV and Internet access are going up in a number of areas.

Starting on December 20th, with all the new fees added in, this cable and internet bill will be nearly $50 more than it was the month before.

This is what happens when TV groups continue to demand more money from the cable and satellite companies.

I don’t know about you, but in the midst of a pandemic, $50 more would be enough to get me to cut the cord.

TV stood by and watched newspapers decline to near death and now they are about to repeat what they just watched happen to newspapers.
